About Foundation Works
Our History
In 1970, while helping to clean up the destruction created by earthquakes in California, Foundation Works creator saw a need for a stronger foundation. So Foundation Works got busy designing, and the early installations of the engineered foundation system survived the temblors that serverely shook Loma Prieta in 1989, and Northridge in 1994.
Manufactured Homes with these earlier versions of EFS installed required only minor repositioning and leveling, while the non-EFS homes suffered, causing thousands of dollars in damage, and forcing many homeowners to leave their homes for months.
